Headlight restoration in Phoenix

Phoenix sun destroys headlight lenses faster than anywhere in the country — the factory UV coating fails and the polycarbonate yellows and hazes, cutting your night-time light output in half. We sand, polish and re-seal both lenses with a UV-cure coating in about an hour, usually $75–$150 a pair. If a lens is cracked or holding moisture, we replace the assembly instead.

Why the $20 kit doesn't last

Drugstore kits sand off the failed coating and polish the plastic clear — and leave it bare, so it yellows again in two or three months of Phoenix sun. The step that matters is the UV-cure sealant applied after polishing, which is what the factory coating was. Done right, a restoration lasts two to three years here.

It's also a safety thing

Hazed lenses scatter light instead of throwing it down the road. If night driving feels dimmer than it used to, it's probably not your bulbs. Restoring the lenses is cheaper than new bulbs and makes a bigger difference.

"This place was the best for fixing the air in my car and the guys were BEYOND nice! I will be going here from now on to fix anything in my car."— Emily Urcuyo, Google review

How long

Restoration: about an hour, while you wait. Replacement: same day if parts are in stock; otherwise next day.

Common questions

How long does headlight restoration last?

Two to three years in Phoenix when it's finished with a UV-cure sealant. Kits that skip the sealant yellow again in a few months.

Can you restore headlights that have moisture inside?

No — moisture inside means the seal has failed and the assembly needs to be replaced or resealed. Restoration only fixes the outside of the lens.

Do you aim the headlights after replacement?

Yes. Every replacement is aimed so you're not blinding oncoming traffic or lighting the trees.

How do I get a quote?

Text 2–3 photos to (480) 690-8998 (one close, one from a few feet back, one at an angle) or use the form on our homepage. Same business day.

Can I pay cash instead of using insurance?

Yes. Most of these repairs land near or under a typical deductible, so we always give you a cash price alongside the insurance route.
